I mentioned to Anne I was thinking of writing to Nemo again
(the journal in a past post: letters-to-my-little-nemos.html)
And the reasonable question was
"what are you going to write about?"
GREAT Question!
Her thought was adoption.
My thought...
Was an apology...
My Dear Little One,
I am forever sorry that I haven't been able to see you yet.
I'm sorry that this is proving harder than I thought.
That doesn't mean your Daddy and I want you any less.
On the contrary, we are working so much harder to try and meet you
as soon as possible!
I'm Sorry we haven't brought you home.
I'm sorry I'm not where you are.
I'm sorry I don't have a good explanation.
I'm sorry our lives are not being meshed together just yet.
That being said...
Please know this:
We love you.
We can't wait to meet you.
God is working with us to arrange a union very soon.
He's designing this meeting Himself personally!
And it's taking this long because He wants it to be
PERFECT.
and it will be just that, perfect.
And when we meet you, we will love you forever and a day,
and we will never let you go.
